![]() ![]() I received an arc in exchange for an honest review. It felt like it was just too quick for me with how some things happened. My main reason for keeping this from being a 5 star read was that I felt like some things happened just too quickly, and some things even happened off-page, like Derek and Tyler escaping their pack. And I hope that Tyler gets his own book soon! I look forward to seeing how that is continued to be developed. I'm also enjoying the overall arc with the Oaklawn pack and how we are getting more members from their pack. I loved their chemistry together, how perfect they were for each other physically and emotionally. And Derek, although an alpha wolf, wants someone to command him and he wants to be submissive to his partner. Waverly likes being in control, he's definitely the Dom here, and he battles with that omega instinct and fears losing his dominance in a relationship. ![]() ![]() What I enjoyed most about this book was that Waverly and Derek are not your typical omega and alpha. But if you like ABO/mpreg in your books, you should definitely check out this whole series. ![]() This is the 4th book in the series but I would say that this could work pretty well as a standalone. I am really enjoying Silvia Violet's take on mpreg ABO-verse stories. ![]()
